WHAT A TRAGEDY-POST GRADUATE STUDENT KILLED BY HER BOYFRIEND



   A post graduate student of The Federal University of Technology,Minna has been killed by her boyfriend over food matters


Punch Newspaper reports that Bolatito Ojuola, a Science Education student was allegedly killed by Origbose at her off-campus residence at about 11 pm following a quarrel.


It was gathered that the suspect was working in the victim's father's company in Ondo State where they kicked off their relationship but when he lost his job, he moved to Minna to join her and later set up a clinical laboratory


They reportedly got engaged on January 27, 2017, before they moved in together.
On the day of the incident, it was learned that Origbose and Ojuola had returned from shopping when the victim prepared dinner and set the table  for them to eat

Origbose was said to be reluctant in eating the meal, claiming that it was too hot when Ojuola queried him for shunning her food, which led to an argument resulting in a fight.
A witness who narrated what led to the murder of the victim said:
“During the argument, the man started beating the girl. She rushed to the kitchen and emerged with a knife with which she injured her fiancé.
The man afterward went to a nearby store, where he bought a brand new knife which he allegedly used to stab her in her and in the stomach.”

It was further gathered that a Professor in the university who heard the cry from the house, rushed Ojuola and Origbose to a hospital where she was confirmed dead.
The police however has apprehended the suspect.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bala Elkana who confirmed the incident, said that investigations had commenced into the case and the suspect would be charged to court soon.
A sister of the deceased, Oyin Ojuola also took to her Facebook page to post details of the inhuman act by a man who claimed to lover her sister.
